CHANGI Airports International (CAI) has landed a seven-month extension to continue managing and operating the King Fahd International Airport (KFIA) in Dammam, Saudi Arabia till June this year.
Under Saudi laws, the maximum permissible period an existing contract can be extended by is 10 per cent of the initial contract period. A new tender will be called after the extension period - which started in November - expires.
