COE premiums down across most categories

CERTIFICATE of Entitlement (COE) premiums fell across most categories of vehicles in the latest bidding exercise.
The COE premium for cars of up to 1,600cc & 97kW dropped to S$48,000 from S$50,951 previously, while the COE premium for cars above 1,600cc fell even more sharply, from S$53,001 to S$46,229.
Meanwhile, the COE premium for the open category came to S$50,010, declining from S$54,901 previously, while the premium for motorcycles eased from S$6,212 to S$6,113.
However, the premium for goods vehicles and buses rose from S$49,002 to S$51,209.
