COE supply to shrink in Nov-Jan; car and m-cycle growth 0% from Feb

THE certificate of entitlement (COE) supply will fall for the November-to-January period, while the vehicle growth rate will be cut to zero per cent for certain categories from February 2018.

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) announced on Monday that, for the upcoming quota period, the total number of COEs will come down to 25,913 from 27,370 in the August-to-October period. This means that the average monthly supply for November-to-January will shrink by about 5.3 per cent to 8,635.
