Commercial vehicles' COE premium falls further

THE COE (Certificate of Entitlement) premium for commercial vehicles continued to fall but only slightly. In the first bidding exercise of the new quota, Category C - for goods vehicles and buses - shed S$472 to S$26,029. It had fallen by nearly S$20,000 two weeks ago.
Meanwhile, Cat A - for cars below 1,600 cc or 130 hp - slipped S$494 to S$51,106, while Cat B - for cars above 1,600 cc and 130 hp - rose S$1,008 to S$55,414.
Cat E - the open category which currently tracks Cat B - was also higher, climbing S$384 to S$55,000.
But Cat D - for motorcycles - was S$411 lower at S$6,301.
