INDONESIAN airport services provider Gapura has entered into a multi-million-dollar agreement to lease close to 300 pieces of ground support equipment from Singapore-based provider Thompson Robbins Maintenance (TRM) as South-east Asia's largest country seeks to alleviate congestion in airport traffic.
"We try to minimise the delay on the ground, from gate congestion. For example if planes are parked remotely, our bus and equipment are enough and ready. I expect no more delay because of us," said Gapura's president director and chief executive officer Agus Priyanto in an exclusive interview with The Business Times on Wednesday.
