Garuda aims to bypass Singapore on flights to Europe: CEO

    SINGAPORE will no longer serve as a stopover for Garuda's flights from Jakarta to Europe by the end of this year - if the Indonesian capital's airport manages to improve its runway by then, that is.

    "I have to choose the best route for the customer," said Arif Wibowo, CEO of Indonesia's national carrier, of his decision to drop Singapore altogether from the Jakarta-London route.

    The new vehicles will comprise a mix of fully electric and hybrid models, including the BYD Seal 6 DM-i.
