GM’s Cruise to slash 24% of its workforce
GENERAL Motors’ self-driving business Cruise will slash 24 per cent of its full-time workforce impacting about 900 employees, the company said on Thursday (Dec 14).
The layoffs are primarily in commercial operations and related corporate functions and come after Cruise fired nine executives on Wednesday, including its chief operating officer. REUTERS
