Grab hires Softbank veteran as new president

RIDE-HAILING app company Grab has appointed Ming Maa as its president based in Singapore, it said in a press release Friday morning.
Mr Maa will primarily be responsible for driving corporate development activities including strategic partnerships and investment opportunities, developing and executing on new market strategies and managing the company's overall capital structure, Grab said.
He joins Grab from Japanese technology group SoftBank, one of Grab's investors.
