QATAR Airways faces ongoing turbulence as the Gulf row intensifies, which if prolonged could make all the Gulf carriers a less appealing choice for travellers.

In a surprise move, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain revoked the Doha-based airline's licences on Tuesday, giving it 48 hours to shut down its offices. This comes after Qatar's various neighbours severed diplomatic ties and accused it of supporting Islamist groups - an accusation that Qatar has decried as baseless.
