THE multibillion-dollar high-speed rail line between Singapore and Malaysia could stand to benefit from a joint partnership between Hong Kong urban rail operator MTR Corporation and mainland rail giant China Railway Corporation should they succeed in winning the tender for the project, say industry observers.
MTRC chairman Frederick Ma told The South China Morning Post in a report published on Monday that the company plans to enter a joint bid with CRC to build the 350km rail link between Singapore and Kuala Lumpur.
