Indonesia probes all airlines for route violations

    INDONESIA is investigating all airlines for route violations as search teams looking for the crashed AirAsia jetliner recovered another four bodies and additional plane fragments on Sunday.

    The investigation comes as Indonesia's transport ministry said that AirAsia wasn't authorised to fly to Singapore the day its jetliner crashed into the Java Sea. AirAsia "clearly" breached its route permit as it wasn't permitted to fly from Surabaya to Singapore on Dec 28, the Sunday the accident occurred, according to Djoko Murjatmodjo, director-general for air aviation at the transport ministry. The ministry is checking other carriers to ensure they comply with all rules, Mr Murjatmodjo said by phone from Jakarta on Sunday.
