International air passenger growth flat in Nov

THE number of international air passengers grew 3.6 per cent year on year in November last year, largely flat from October, which suggests growth could be stalling in line with softening global business conditions, said the International Air Transport Association (Iata).

Both economy and premium passenger numbers have been flattening where growth is concerned, which reflects changes in business confidence in 2H14 and weaker economic conditions in the eurozone and China, Iata highlighted in its latest premium traffic monitor.
