A NEW Malaysian cargo carrier has come forward to claim three jumbo jets that have been sitting on the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) tarmac for more than a year, after the airport authority placed an ad seeking their owner. The problem is, the airport operator is still not convinced.

Splunk n' Dash Sdn has documents showing that it took ownership of the three Boeing Co 747-200Fs in June, according to its website, and has been in communication with Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) since then, chief executive officer Blue Peterson said on Friday. The company is in the process of changing its name to Swift Air Cargo, according to its website.
