Nio’s October deliveries surge 92.6% to 40,397 electric vehicles
Cumulative deliveries reached 913,182 as at Oct 31, 2025
[SINGAPORE] Chinese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer Nio announced on Sunday (Nov 2) that it delivered 40,397 vehicles in October this year, up 92.6 per cent year on year.
This is a new monthly record for the company, with 17,342 vehicles from its family-oriented smart EV brand Onvo; 5,912 vehicles from its smart high-end electric car brand Firefly; and 17,143 vehicles from the premium smart EV brand Nio.
Cumulative deliveries reached 913,182 as at Oct 31, with 241,618 vehicles delivered year to date in 2025, increasing by 41.9 per cent on the year.
In October, the carmaker’s smart large-space flagship sport utility vehicle, the Onvo L90, achieved a new record and sustained its strong growth momentum, with monthly deliveries exceeding 10,000 for three consecutive months since its official launch in late July 2025.
The results come amid the company’s recent lawsuit with Singapore sovereign wealth fund GIC. GIC is claiming damages sustained from its purchase of about 54.5 million Nio American depository shares (ADSs) during the period from Aug 11, 2020, to Jul 11, 2022.
They were said to be bought at prices “inflated artificially by defendants’ fraud in reliance on the misrepresentations alleged herein and/or on the integrity of the market for Nio ADSs”, reported The Business Times previously.

A key allegation is that Nio unlawfully recognised immediate revenue of over US$600 million from a battery asset and leasing joint venture (JV) – Weineng Battery Asset (Weineng). The JV was controlled by Nio, but the carmaker failed to disclose this.
As at 9.55 am, shares of Nio were up around 3 per cent at US$7.25 from its closing price on Friday, after easing from an intraday high of US$7.29 at 9.31 am on Monday.
