NokScoot almost ready for take-off

NOKSCOOT, the joint-venture carrier between Thai budget airline Nok Air and Singapore Airlines' budget carrier Scoot, is nearly set for take-off.
The medium- and long-haul budget carrier has been granted its air operator's certificate (AOC) by Thailand's Department of Civil Aviation, thus fulfilling all its statutory requirements; Thailand's Ministry of Transport had earlier granted it an air-transport service licence, said a filing with the Singapore Exchange by SIA.
