AFTER the relaunch of the Skoda brand in Singapore exactly a year ago after a five-year absence, the Czech car maker has made the most of its 12 months back here.
"In slightly less than a year, we have successfully turned the Skoda brand around and won over a significant group of Singaporean car owners with our top quality and compelling value-for-money proposition," Ricky Tay, managing director, Volkswagen Group Singapore (VGS), told The Business Times via e-mail. "We launched the brand in March and have already achieved record sales results for our first year here."
