    THE number of parallel-import (PI) cars registered so far this year has almost quadrupled compared to a year ago on voracious replacement demand.

    In the first three months of 2016, the PI industry collectively registered 4,330 cars, or a 270 per cent increase from the corresponding period in 2015.
