Pratt & Whitney opens first manufacturing facility in Singapore

PRATT and Whitney has officially opened its first manufacturing facility in Singapore, which will produce fan blades and other key components for its new PurePower Geared Turbofan (GTF) engine family.
The American aircraft-engine maker currently owns seven other facilities in Singapore, but this will be its first manufacturing plant here.
