AS part of efforts to improve productivity and reduce reliance on manpower, the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) and Changi Airport Group (CAG) will invest over S$20 million in the next six years in an initiative where CAG will install an airport-wide wireless (Wi-Fi) communication network in the apron area.
Called the Smart Apron initiative, it will cover all aircraft stands at Terminals 1 to 4 as well as remote and cargo aircraft stands.
