PTC recommends ways to improve commuter experience on public transport

THE Public Transport Council (PTC) has released its inaugural report containing recommendations on how to make Singapore's public transport system more accommodating to the needs of the elderly, families with young children and wheelchair users.

It has also made recommendations on providing better travel information and more commuter-centric design - which it said are ideas that home in on the "softer" aspects of public transport to be improved, instead of the physical infrastructure.
