QANTAS will operate more flights between Singapore and Australia from Friday, as it enters the final stretch of its three-year A$2 billion (S$2.05 billion) cost-cutting journey that saw the repositioning of Singapore as its Asian hub.

Three more flights per week will be operating between Singapore and Melbourne, bringing the total to 10 flights per week. This will be in addition to the 28 flights per week that also serve Perth, Sydney and Brisbane.
