QATAR Airways will be able to offer more business class seats and better onward connections to Europe and the US as it adds capacity to Singapore and introduces the Airbus A350.
The Doha-based carrier, which is using Boeing 787s for its twice-daily flights between Singapore and Doha, has chosen Singapore as the first Asian country to receive its A350 aircraft. The airline is the launch customer for the A350, having taken delivery in December of the first jet, which is deployed to Frankfurt.
