COMPLYING with the rule limiting the sulphur content of bunker fuels to 0.5 per cent from 2020 could well cost the French CMA CGM shipping group US$1.5 billion.
Already, the chief executive of the group's Singapore-based subsidiary APL has been going around trying to get the clients of the combined group prepared for a rate hike.
