Renault mulling attracting other strategic investors to Ampere, Alpine: CEO

RENAULT is considering bringing in new investors for its electric and software entity Ampere and its sports brand Alpine, the group’s chief executive Luca de Meo said on Thursday (May 11), in line with its strategy of opening up to outside partners in order to stay in the electrification race.
Renault aims to list Ampere in Paris this year, depending on market conditions. Sources have said the unit could be valued at up to 10 billion euros (S$14.5 billion).
De Meo said on Wednesday Alpine could also be listed, adding that was nevertheless not on the agenda for now. REUTERS
