Rolls-Royce slashes production goals, pledges greater cost cuts
British engine maker plans to make fewer wide-body engines, and may consider 15 per cent cut to its workforce

ROLLS-ROYCE Holdings lowered its forecast for wide-body engine production and pledged greater cost reductions to cope with an effective grounding of the global airline industry.
The British engine maker said it plans to make 250 wide-body engines in 2020, down from a previous estimate of 450.
