SCOOT will potentially be the low-cost carrier (LCC) with the world's longest LCC route as it prepares to launch services to Europe in the second quarter of 2017, according to a report by the Centre for Aviation (CAPA).
The low-cost airline subsidiary of Singapore Airlines Group (SIA) is taking four 787-8 aircraft with crew bunks to prepare for this expansion to Europe; the planes are to be delivered beginning from April 2017.
