KRISFLYER members will be able to redeem their miles for vouchers for travel on budget carriers Scoot and Tigerair from April.
In addition, KrisFlyer members will be able to use their miles to pay for selected products on the two low-cost carriers.
KrisFlyer is Singapore Airlines' (SIA) frequent flyer programme.
By the end of this year, Scoot and Tigerair plan to offer KrisFlyer members the option of earning KrisFlyer miles on Scoot and Tigerair.
Scoot is wholly owned by SIA, which also has a 56 per cent stake in Tiger Airways.
"Scoot and Tigerair are already important parts of the SIA Group's portfolio of airlines," said SIA's senior vice-president (marketing planning) Lee Wen Fen. "Including them as KrisFlyer partners is a natural development and will help us live up to our promise to constantly offer more benefits to our members."
