SINGAPORE Airlines (SIA) has added Android Pay and Apple Pay mobile payment services to its mobile app, which will allow users to pay for products such as flights, preferred seat selection and travel insurance.
This will mean added convenience since customers will not have to fill in their payment information; with Android Pay, the credit or debit card details are already stored in their accounts, while with Apple Pay, a unique device account number is assigned and stored in the secure element on the mobile device, SIA said in a press release.
