[SINGAPORE] Singapore Airlines (SIA) and Turkish Airlines are expanding their codeshare agreement, which will allow SIA to codeshare on Turkish Airlines-operated flights beyond Istanbul to other destinations in Turkey, as well as to points in Africa, Europe, the Middle East and North America.

As such, SIA will add its code to Turkish Airlines' flights serving 29 destinations. This will effectively give SIA 23 new points in 11 new countries, excluding the six points it already serves with the help of other codeshare partners.

In line with higher demand, SIA will also boost its frequency between Singapore and Istanbul from four weekly flights currently to six times weekly on a seasonal basis, starting May 26.
