SIA records marginal increase in December passenger load factor
Year-end demand healthy in all regions except Europe; cargo load factor also improves

SINGAPORE Airlines' (SIA) passenger load factor for December edged up 0.3 percentage points to 82.1 per cent as capacity was scaled back year on year, while passenger carriage decreased at a lower pace.
For the month, passenger carriage (measured in revenue-passenger-kilometres) dipped 0.7 per cent against a 1.1 per cent drop in capacity (measured in available seat kilometres), the group said in a release to the Singapore Exchange on Friday.
