CERTIFICATE of entitlement (COE) premiums for passenger cars inched up as demand from replacement buyers continues to remain strong, say dealers.
Category A - for cars below 1,600cc and 130 hp - rose S$505 to S$46,009, while Cat B - for cars above 1,600cc or 130 hp - increased S$498 to S$47,000.
Meanwhile, Cat E - the open category which currently tracks Cat B - climbed S$843 to S$47,510.
But the other two categories were lower, with Cat C - for commercial vehicles - falling S$2,289 to S$44,213, and Cat D - for motorcycles - slipping S$86 to S$6,503.
