SINGAPORE ranks second in the Asia-Pacific when it comes to charter jets per billionaire, according to a report, with mainland China lagging behind its South-east Asian neighbours.
Australia leads the pack in terms of convenience, with 57 charter jets for its 27 billionaires, for a jet to billionaire ratio of 2.1. The charter jet sector Down Under has taken off thanks to demand from users in the mining and tourism industries, according to the report by Hong Kong-based private jet chartering firm L'Voyage.
