BUSINESS aviation in and out of Singapore could get a boost from the segregated travel lane (STL) announced by the Ministry of Trade and Industry on Tuesday. This will allow business, official and high economic value travellers from all countries to enter Singapore for short stays of up to 14 days without quarantine.
Jamie Lenox, client aviation manager at charter broker and aircraft management company Singapore Air Charter, expects the STL to stimulate demand for private jets, since its focus on specific traveller categories is unlikely to prompt a significant response from the commercial aviation sector just yet.
