Speculation rife over change in Maserati dealership

RUMOURS are swirling again about the possibility of the Maserati dealership here changing hands, with staff connected to a rival company reportedly heard expressing confidence in securing the Italian luxury brand.

There has been renewed speculation that several motor companies are bidding for the brand with the trident badge and they include sports car and luxury car dealerships. "The super sports car importers are your usual suspects, but what is interesting about the situation this time is that some premium luxury dealers are also eyeing Maserati," said a source who declined to be named because of his close relationship with one of the suitors.
