SPEED and innovation are key for the economic health of the airline industry amid potential threats on the horizon, said the head of an aviation association.
"I am a big believer in speed and innovation. We need to be prepared to react when the environment changes," said new International Air Transport Association (Iata) chief Alexandre de Juniac, who assumed the role on Sept 1. "That's not easy for any business - and it's a real struggle for process-driven and safety-focused industries like air transport."
