TESLA Motors has been the darling of Wall Street. A-list stars including Hollywood's leading men Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt and George Clooney are all also fans.
It lured them with the luxury electric Model S and is now going after the middle class with its Model 3, a compact electric sedan set to debut in 2017 for a starting price of US$35,000-US$40,000.
