TIGER Airways has ordered 37 Airbus A320neo aircraft worth some US$3.8 billion at list price and delivery is to start from 2018.
However, the group has cancelled nine A320 aircraft that were scheduled for delivery this year and next, and which were part of a larger order in 2007 from the European planemaker.
In a statement yesterday, the budget carrier said that the agreement also included options for 13 additional aircraft and to convert the single-aisle A320neos into the larger A321neo model.
