UK air passenger numbers to be 3-5% lower by 2020 after Brexit, says Iata

    THE number of air passengers in the United Kingdom may be 5 per cent lower by 2020 following a vote to have Britain split from the European Union, said the International Air Transport Association (Iata).

    In its preliminary assessment of the air transport industry issued on Friday after the "Brexit" vote, Iata also sketched out three possible aviation arrangements that the UK and the EU might pursue to mitigate negative effects.
