Vossloh boss to bid 447m euros for German trainmaker

VOSSLOH AG chairman Heinz Hermann Thiele has said that he'll bid at least 447 million euros (S$690 million) for the 70 per cent of the German locomotive and railroad-equipment manufacturer that he doesn't already control.

He plans to offer 48-49 euros per share through his KB Holding GmbH, which announced the plans in a regulatory release.
