Triple whammy takes toll on Metro's Q4 profit
Quarter's earnings dive 84.8% to S$1.15m; final payout of seven Singapore cents includes 5-cent special dividend

LOWER turnover and exchange differences, along with a sharp rise in general and administrative expenses have pulled Metro Holding's net profit down by 84.8 per cent to S$1.15 million for the fourth quarter ended March 31.
Revenue was S$32.6 million, down 21.9 per cent from the previous corresponding period's S$41.7 million. Gross profit fell 5.04 per cent to S$3.43 million as cost of revenue dropped 23.5 per cent.
