Tritech Group to take automatic extension and release full-year results by July 30
CATALIST-LISTED Tritech Group will release its full-year financial statements by July 30, the engineering and environmental services provider said on Sunday night, after it took the bourse operator up on the offer of an automatic two-month extension.
The board said that Tritech had sought the extension "in view of the practical difficulties which have emerged in the preparation of its FY2020 results due to the measures currently in place to address the local transmission" of the deadly Covid-19 respiratory illness.
As such, the annual report for the financial year to March 31 will be issued by Sept 6, while the annual general meeting will be held by Sept 28, the board added, while noting that this timeline "is indicative only, and is subject to change".
Tritech has withdrawn an earlier application for more time to release its unaudited full-year results, which it made before the Singapore Exchange unveiled its automatic extension policy.
"The company and its officers will ensure continued adherence to its internal policies with regard to dealing by the company and its officers in its securities, including not dealing in the company's securities while in possession of any material information," the board affirmed.
