Triyards shares spike in heavy trading

SHARES in Triyards soared as much as 11.4 per cent on Tuesday in heavy trading.
Some 992,300 shares changed hands, surpassing the last peak in the counter's trading volume back in late November. The stock was climbing steadily during morning trading but as OCBC Research analyst Low Pei Han observed, the spike started mostly after 4pm. It peaked at S$0.49, up five cents or 11.4 per cent, before settling at S$0.48, a gain of 9.1 per cent.
