TTJ secures S$16m contracts in Singapore, Malaysia

TTJ Holdings said on Thursday it has won structural steelworks contracts for a liquefied natural gas project in Pengerang, Johor and for the provision of civil defence doors for MRT stations along the Thomson Line.

These contracts are S$16 million in value and are expected to be substantially completed between FY2016 and FY2017. They raise the group's order book to S$122 million.

TTJ chairman and managing director Teo Hock Chwee said the company managed to clinch the projects despite facing increased market competition.

"This also proves that there are ample opportunities in the construction market to be had, and TTJ is determined to go all out to pursue prospects that fit our considerable capabilities and which generate positive yields for us."
