Two former staff of Darco unit sentenced to jail
Taipei court found ex-GM guilty of fraud, CBT; former admin manager guilty of fraud
DARCO Water Technologies, a mainboard-listed provider of water and wastewater system solutions, yesterday announced that two former employees of a subsidiary have been sentenced to jail by Taiwan's Taipei District Court.
Darco said "this update has no material financial impact on the group".
On Wednesday, former Darco Engineering (Taiwan) (DET) general manager Chen Kuai was found guilty of criminal breach of trust and embezzlement and was sentenced to a total of six years' imprisonment. The company's former administration manager, Nina Chiu, was found guilty of embezzlement and was sentenced to a jail term of three years and eight months.
