SINGAPORE companies with student accommodation business in the UK are taking the long view amid the country's worsening pandemic situation.
More than 40 countries have banned arrivals from the UK (as at Tuesday evening) in an effort to keep out the new fast-spreading Covid-19 virus variant. A lockdown was imposed over the weekend in London and the south and east of England to try and curb the transmission.
On Tuesday, Singapore said all long-term pass holders and shortterm visitors with recent travel history to the UK within the last 14 days will not be allowed entry here, with effect from Dec 24.
