Unshredded UOB clients' data found in garbage bag
Bank says it takes a serious view of any breach of customer confidentiality but provides no findings of probe

ONE MAN'S trash is another man's personal data.
Found under a tree at Boat Quay last month was a garbage bag filled with unshredded documents that included sensitive client information such as details of a loan guarantor and the credit limit of companies. The details show they were clients of United Overseas Bank (UOB).
