UOB digitalises application process for all its consumer products

APPLICATIONS for United Overseas Bank's (UOB) consumer banking products can now be done entirely online, including deposit accounts, credit and debit cards, personal loans and secured loans such as car and home loans.
Tapping the government's digital identity service MyInfo, the digital process makes it possible to open an account within 15 minutes, said UOB, which is the first bank in Singapore to digitalise the application process for all consumer banking products.
