JIANGSU Changjiang Electronics Technology on Thursday said it has proposed to buy up most of STATS ChipPAC for US$780 million.
The purchase would exclude STATS ChipPAC's subsidiaries in Taiwan, said the Chinese company in a regulatory filing through STATS ChipPAC.
