US dollar rally hits roadblock in Asian trading

THE US dollar's ascent hit a roadblock on Tuesday as investors turned cautious and markets increasingly take account of a long-awaited US interest rate hike.
Traders have been bidding up the US dollar in anticipation of the rate rise - a plus for the greenback - with the Federal Reserve widely expected to move later this month.
