US: Wall St opens muted ahead of business activity data; geopolitical tensions in focus
WALL Street’s main indices had a subdued start on Friday (Nov 22) as investors awaited a business activity survey and monitored geopolitical tensions between Ukraine and Russia.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 1.3 points at the open to 43,871.63. The S&P 500 fell 4.4 points, or 0.07 per cent, to 5,944.36, while the Nasdaq Composite dropped 6.1 points, or 0.03 per cent, to 18,966.32 at the opening bell. REUTERS
